Meet the Artist

Elif was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, and came to California in 2020 to pursue her passion in Fine Arts. She graduated from UC Berkeley in 2024 with a degree in Art Practice. Currently she is working as an artist and art teacher in San Francisco.

Elif is interested in creating portraits and drawings of women by making oil painting and mixed media works. She uses traditional Turkish patterns and motifs in her works to embody the inner beauty of the person and to empower the role of women in patriarchal cultures.
